Minima’s design team is offering an opportunity for a Product Designer to take the next step in their career with us in our Suffolk office working on innovative new product development projects in a wide range of industries.

Minima is an award winning product development company. We create, prototype and deliver commercially successful products, services and equipment using an innovation process based on an improved user experience.

Prospective candidates should have experience of developing products from concept to production with a creative mindset, but the ability to understand complex engineering systems.  Minima’s innovation approach is practical with a well-equipped prototyping facility so a hands-on attitude is essential.

The position would suit a self-motivated, team player. A prospective candidate must be organised , have obsessive attention to detail and convey a positive attitude with a sense of humour.

Requirements include

Creative product design skills
Able to model anything in Solidworks CAD software
Engineering competence
Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
Desire to improve personal professional skills
Excellent verbal and written communication ability
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Excellent Industrial Design or similar degree
Experience in a commercial new product development environment
A strong portfolio of design work including products in manufacture

Salary Package

We offer an attractive salary package dependent on experience with a bonus scheme
